Eagle Springs, Humble - Houston, TX

As many know, we had a robbery occur in Eagle Springs about three weeks ago. An older woman was followed home and as she was getting out of her vehicle she was approached by a black male in his 20's and made to drive to the bank and withdraw money from the ATM. He then had her drive back home where he got out of her vehicle and walked away - presumable to his car or to a car with a driver waiting nearby.

Friday, there was another robbery in Eagle Springs, same scenario, older woman, same suspect.

Saturday, there was another robbery, this time from the Shell gas station at Timber Forest/Will Clayton. Again, same suspect, same scenario, EXCEPT that this time he had a gun and the victim was a young, black man, not an older woman as in the first two robberies.

In each case, the suspect got into the victim's vehicle and had them drive to the Bank of America at Will Clayton & Atascocita Rd to withdraw money from the ATM and then drive back to their home or location he got into their vehicle and walked away. So far all incidents have occurred in the early afternoon.

We now have a description of what is believed to be the suspects vehicle: a white or cream colored older sedan. If you see a vehicle matching this description following you or see one parked on your street or in your neighborhood and it doesn't belong, please CALL the CONSTABLES IMMEDIATELY at: 281-376-3472.

The suspect's description is: Black Male in his 20's, approximately 5'5", slim build. He wears a white hat, sunglasses, painter's type mask over mouth/nose, and white shirt. And he is now carrying a gun.

The vehicle description is: white or cream colored, older sedan.

We ask that everyone be aware of their surroundings and pay attention until this guy is caught. If you see someone who matches this description or that of the vehicle call the Constables or 9-1-1.

Patrols are being stepped up in our area until this person is caught.

When going out shopping

Go with family or friends.

Lock your doors when getting into your car.

Leave expensive jewelry at home.

Keep your purse close to your body, no dangling straps or wear a waist belt..

Don’t park next to vans or trucks that don’t have windows in the sides or rear.

Lock your car and note your location.

Always walk purposefully, keeping aware of your environment.

Do not walk out of the stores until you:

  1. Remember where your car is parked.
  2. Have car keys or vehicle remote in your hand

Put your packages in your trunk. Out of sight, out of mind.

Get into your car and immediately lock the doors.

Check your rear view mirrors occasionally to make sure no one is following you home.

Note: Criminals look for unsuspecting victims. Example: the shopper carrying packages, fumbling for car keys in a dangling purse, trying to remember where the car is parked and talking on a cell phone not paying attention to your surroundings. Be aware of your surroundings and stay alert.
